CHAPSTiK, better known (now) as Chapman Boatright, is a good friend of mine and nothing pleases me more than to see someone you know be able to find their passion and put it into work. Local Treats: Cory Goble

It's always a pleasure to find new/rising artist that can not only do amazing covers, but also produce their own work to create something beautiful. It's an even better treat when they're from your hometown and you grew up with them as a kid, then to see how far they have come now. Cory Goble is a singer/songwriter form Hickory, NC who's been playing guitar since around the age of 10. He styles varies from inde/folk/pop/ and country. He is currently working on his first album that should be available by the end of the year, so pay attention!

The Turndown Sessions: Trampled by Turtles - "Widower's Heart"

This performance of "widower's heart" by the turtles was shot and filmed for a private event at the Ace Hotel in New York, and i could only image being able to get a surprise performance by a rising group of young talent that has set their own path on the bluegrass genre. This song in particular is one of my favorites off their latest album "Stars and Satellites" which you can purchase today.

Yeezy and Hov remind you to Watch the Throne along with G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean on this hot new track off the upcoming album "Cruel Summer" expected to drop sometime in the next month. Leaks from this album have been far and in between, with only 3 offical tracks up for grabs on itunes. I've already killed the play button on this song, and you'll see why.

Somnio, aka my boy Dylon Perry from the HKY, has been tearing it up recently and has hit the light in the greater Hickory area around the clubs.
